  • Physical Therapist/ Owner

    Samuel Fisher, PT, DPT

    Sam's journey from a Ventura County native to the esteemed owner of Ashwood Physical Therapy is a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for physical therapy. Graduating from Adolfo Camarillo High School and later earning his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Cal State Channel Islands University laid the foundation for his career in healthcare.

    Driven by his desire to make a difference in the lives of others, Sam began his journey in the field of physical therapy as a physical therapy aide. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable insights into outpatient rehabilitation, fueling his passion even further. His academic excellence shone through as he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from one of the top Christian colleges in the country, Azusa Pacific University in 2010.

    Following a residency at Kaiser Hospital, Sam's professional journey brought him to Ashwood Physical Therapy, where he found his calling in outpatient care. In 2014, he assumed ownership of the clinic, driven by his unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Under his leadership, Ashwood Physical Therapy has continued to uphold its stellar reputation as a beacon of outstanding care for Ventura County residents.

    Sam's approach to patient care is rooted in individualized and compassionate treatment, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized attention they deserve throughout their rehabilitation journey. His dedication to excellence is evident from the moment patients step into the office, where they are met with warmth, compassion, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.

    Beyond his professional endeavors, Sam finds joy and fulfillment in his family life. Traveling with his wife and daughter, enjoying beach days, exploring the outdoors through hiking and mountain biking, and immersing himself in local concerts are just a few of the ways Sam finds balance and happiness outside of work. His multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication make him not only a respected leader in his field but also a cherished member of his community.

  • Physical Therapist Assistant 

    Erin Reed, PTA

    Erin's journey into the realm of physical therapy is a testament to her unwavering dedication and passion for helping others heal and thrive. 

    In 1999, Erin took the first step in her journey by graduating from Cerritos College's esteemed PTA program. Armed with newfound knowledge and skills, she embarked on her professional odyssey, starting in Riverside, where she specialized in aquatic therapy—a realm that resonated deeply with her.

    After honing her craft in Riverside, Erin's path led her to Orange County, where she spent nearly a decade at a bustling sports medicine clinic. Here, she not only expanded her expertise but also diversified her skill set by becoming a Certified Pilates Instructor.

    In 2010, Erin transitioned into an academic role in Seattle as the Assistant PTA Program Director, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of physical therapy professionals. Her dedication to education and mentorship made a lasting impact on countless students, setting them on the path to successful careers in physical therapy.

    After three fulfilling years in Seattle, Erin returned to Orange County, where she continued her journey in the home health field, providing invaluable care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. 

    In 2019, Erin embarked on a new chapter in Ventura with her husband, where she continued her work in the home health field until fate led her back to her true passion: working in an outpatient clinic with an Aquatic therapy program here at Ashwood in 2023. Erin brings her wealth of experience and expertise to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

    Beyond her professional endeavors, Erin finds fulfillment in her role as a proud parent to two children, as well as her furry and feathered family members—a true reflection of her nurturing spirit and boundless love for all creatures great and small.

  • Office Manager/ Billing

    Kellie Goldenbee

    Kellie's remarkable journey in the healthcare field is a testament to her unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and warm-hearted demeanor. Her story began in 2003 when she embarked on her career at Ashwood Physical Therapy as a physical therapy aide. It didn't take long for her to become a beloved figure among patients, known for her exceptional care and compassionate approach.

    After five years of dedicated service, Kellie transitioned to the front office, where her cheerful personality and attention to detail made her the perfect fit as the company's receptionist in 2008. In this role, she quickly became known as "the voice" of Ashwood, greeting patients with warmth and professionalism, and mastering the intricacies of office management and patient relations.

    With her natural knack for organization and commitment to excellence, Kellie seamlessly transitioned into medical billing, where she became an indispensable asset to the company. Her expertise extended to various facets of medical practice, including claims processing, appeals, collections, and financial management. Recognizing her exceptional skills and leadership qualities, Kellie was appointed Ashwood's Office Manager, a role she embraced with enthusiasm and dedication.

    Outside of her professional duties, Kellie finds joy in creating cherished memories with her husband and son. Whether it's camping along Ventura County's scenic beaches or embarking on exciting adventures at Disneyland, Kellie treasures every moment spent with her loved ones. Her boundless energy, positivity, and commitment to excellence make her not only a valuable asset to Ashwood but also a beloved member of her community.

    Jennifer Beltran

    Jennifer's seamless integration into the Ashwood team in 2021 marked the beginning of a valuable partnership. With a background in various customer service roles, Jennifer effortlessly transitioned into her role in the front office and reception, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping others.

    Her expertise in navigating the complexities of the medical insurance field ensures that patients receive the support they need to navigate their recovery journey with confidence. Jennifer's commitment to providing exceptional customer service has quickly made her an indispensable asset to the Ashwood Physical Therapy staff.

    At the heart of Jennifer's work is a dedication to ensuring that every patient receives personalized care and attention. Whether scheduling appointments or addressing inquiries, she approaches each task with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in patients' lives.
