Meet Our Team

  • Physical Therapist/ Owner

    Samuel Fisher, PT, DPT

    Sam has lived in Ventura county his entire life graduating from Adolfo Camarillo High School and later from Cal State Channel Islands University with his Bachelor's degree in Biology. Sam worked as a physical therapy aide for several years familiarizing himself with the outpatient rehabilitation setting. He then set forward with his path graduating Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from one of the top Christian Colleges in the nation, Azusa Pacific University. He then finished his residency at Kaiser Hospital before beginning his outpatient career at Ashwood Physical Therapy later that same year. 

    Sam began his career at Ashwood Physical Therapy in 2010 and later took ownership of the company in 2014 where he prides himself in providing outstanding patient care. Sam strives to maintain the great reputation Ashwood Physical Therapy has been known for since opening its door and providing outstanding care for the residents of Ventura county since 1987. Sam believes that individualized and compassionate treatment is what patients desire throughout their rehabilitation and recovery. This is exactly what each patient receives the moment they walk into our office.

    When not at the office Sam enjoys traveling with his wife and daughter. He enjoys all that California has to offer including beach days, hiking trails, mountain biking and local concerts.    

  • Physical Therapist Assistant 

    Riley Sanchez, PTA

    Riley was born and raised in Ventura, where she went to Buena High School and started her college career at Ventura College. She then transferred to California State University, Monterey Bay and received her B.S. in Kinesiology with a focus on Wellness. After college Riley moved to Colorado where her love for physical therapy took shape. She worked as an aide for many years and eventually went to Arapahoe College to get her PTA license. 

    Riley returned to California to be with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs (Bassett hound and beagle). When she’s not at work she loves to spend time with her family, go to the beach, workout at the gym, go to concerts, and eat! 

  • Office Manager/ Billing

    Kellie Goldenbee

    Kellie began her health care career in 2003 when she started at Ashwood Physical Therapy working as a physical therapy aide. In this position, she demonstrated great leadership and was well liked by all patients she came in contact with. After 5 years of work as an aide, Kellie was promoted up to the front office where she became "the voice" of Ashwood working as the company's receptionist in 2008. In this position, Kellie soon learned the clerical and health insurance aspects of the office and was well received by all patients secondary to her upbeat and friendly personality. Kellie soon transitioned to medical billing and in this position has been a great asset to the company. She has acquired a vast understanding and knowledge of the medical practice including: medical claims, processing, appeals, collections, accounting and reporting. Kellie was later given the opportunity to become Ashwood's Office Manager, which she happily accepted, where she continues to provide her expertise to all the staff here in the office regarding the frequent and constant changes within our medical practice.  

    Outside her office duties, Kellie enjoys taking on many adventures with her husband and son: camping at one of Ventura Counties lovely beaches or taking a quick day trip up to California's favorite themed park Disneyland!  

  • Receptionist

    Jennifer Beltran

    Jennifer joined the Ashwood team in 2021 where she quickly adapted to the duties of front office/ reception. Her work background includes various customer service. These skills have given her the ability to successfully perform the ever changing adaptations of the medical insurance field. Jennifer has become a great addition to the Ashwood Physical Therapy staff providing exceptional customer service to all our clients. Jennifer's goal is to continue to provide a positive experience for all patients throughout their recovery here at Ashwood.

    If you call our office and are not greeted by Jennifer's friendly voice on the phone; it's safe to say she is hiking with friends or family or taking a drive to the mountains to enjoy nature's beauty and peace.
